Fairytale Photoshoot With Anjeanette Illustration

By  |

Hey guys! I recently did a photo shoot with Anjeanette Illustration and I wanted to share some of the photos with you. I had so much fun on the shoot and it was wonderful to work with Anjeanette.

We did the shoot on location at Rutledge Falls in Tullahoma, Tn. It is such a beautiful place and it’s really fun because you can actually climb on the falls!

The dress that I’m wearing in the majority of the pictures is from En Creme. We were going for a fairytale vibe for the shoot, and this dress worked perfectly!

For my makeup, I wanted to keep it very natural to go with the theme of the shoot. For foundation, I mixed my Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation with my Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer. For my eyes, I layered a few different blush shades to create a pinky-mauve look, used my Tarte Tartiest Clay Paint Liner to create a slight wing, then finished it off with some Ardelle Demi Wispies. For my lips, I used Red Apple Lipstick’s lip liner in “Natural” and their lipstick in “Twist ‘N Pout.”

Some of these pictures make me feel like I’m in The Jungle Book!

Both of the small flower crowns that we used throughout the shoot are from Charming Charlie.

To add some extra fun to the shoot, we bought a long piece of fabric that was similar to the dress that I was wearing. This gave us even more room to be creative and play around with different shapes.

Anjeanette brought a smoke bomb, which made for some very cool pictures!

For my hair, I added some sea salt spray for texture and then used a large curling wand to create these loose waves.

I really enjoyed climbing all over the rocks for this shoot. It’s always fun when you have a cool location!

Anjeanette brought these beautiful fresh flowers. They made a gorgeous addition to my flower crown!

This second dress is from Olivaceous (purchased from Davis & Co Mercantile in Portland, TN).

We found this beautiful field on the drive to Rutledge Falls and just had to go back to take some pictures!

These two pictures were taken right after I almost fell over…Typical Jayla. Haha!

Doesn’t the sky look amazing in this picture?
